WBW MIR: November 2009
Submitted by KenPumped tags: video, month in review
“Human civility ends at a point of a gun.” Real entrepreneurs are human beings with a certain love for one’s own individuality. A certain trust in oneself, enough to be able to risk – even as much as one’s own life – to be able to proclaim a distinct kind of happiness in this world. This destiny was meant for all, yet only a few take the path. Some make excuses hiding under their blankets, while some honestly fight for every breath to find out someone sweeped off the rug from under their feet. That is what the Maguindanao massacre is all about – a system that perpetrates people who have no sense of their own lives, of which the only way to find it is by forcibly taking it away from those who found it. In this WBW MIR, the Buffs talk about integrity of work, the secret to a great sense of service, and finding yourself in a sea of conformity and violence.

- "Kung wala kang pagkukusa, na sa iyo na ang pagkukulang." - on the challenge to take advantage of today's ubiquity of information and resources.
