It’s been a wonderful, surprise-filled September and October 2009 for EntrepBuff.com. These past two months allowed EntrepBuff.com to flex its muscle and contribute in the task of nation-building. All within just 60 days, it managed to get featured on an article in Entrepreneur Magazine, the Philippines’ premiere magazine for small-and-medium enterprise owners, land a cable TV guesting on Global News Network’s business show, “Bears and Bulls,” provide event coverage for the GoNegosyo “Sigaw ng Kabataan” Youth Entrereneruship Summit and the JCI Manila Entrep Summit 2009, and score a big, unexpected win as the Best Videocast Blog in the 2009 Philippine Blog Awards.
While already gaining acclaim and reputation in online entrepreneurship circles as the web channel for the passionate next-generation entrepreneur, EntrepBuff.com believes that it is also important to explore crossing over into traditional media every so often, in order to deliver to a wider audience its message of cultivating creativity and the entrepreneurial spirit for personal and national development, as well as social change.
Galing ng photographer! That was definitely a fun shoot.
The Entrepreneur Magazine article traced the story of EntrepBuff.com, from its inception to its past events, and to the online work that it does now, and how this all contributes to the group’s advocacy. It also looks into the individual members of the EntrepBuff.com team, their strengths, and what they bring into the group and the actual “product”, the EntrepBuff.com website. A similar discussion ensued during the EntrepBuff.com boys’ guesting on “Bears and Bulls,” the official daily coverage of stock market trading on Destiny Cable’s Global News Network (GNN). It airs live to 200,000 subscribers in Metro Manila and many more all over Southeast Asia, on more than 120 cable networks nationwide.

From being interviewed by media outfits on print and TV, EntrepBuff.com itself served as the official online media coverage partner for two major entrepreneurial summits - those of GoNegosyo's and of JCI Manila's. These partnerships further strengthened EntrepBuff.com's position as the premiere entrepreneurship videoblog, and its logistical capabilities of covering important entrepreneurship-oriented offline events on an online platform.
Ang laki ata ng kulangot na yan.
All these lead to the biggest surprise of the past two months, in fact, the whole year – as EntrepBuff.com was adjudged the Best Videocast Blog for 2009 in the prestigious Philippine Blog Awards. This big win is a validation that EntrrepBuff.com’s unique use of videoblogging is an effective way to deliver its advocacy to a greater number of people at a quicker rate. This is a vote of confidence that EntrepBuff.com is headed toward the right direction as it leads the charge in the online arena, with regard to the task of nation-building via social entrepreneurship. Likewise, it is a challenge for EntrepBuff.com to improve its product and continue in its commitment to contributing to the increase in entrepreneurial awareness and creativity in the country.

With 2009 about to end, EntrepBuff.com carries the successes of this year into 2010 with renewed confidence in its commitment to help build the country one by one, through social entrepreneurship, the pursuit of one's dreams and channeling one's creative spirit into making these dreams come true and turning them into something of profit and value for self, and for the greater good of the greater number.
