WBW 7: Successful People Work VERY HARD

Submitted by Ken
Under topics: video, hard work

Successful people work hard. Aaron Co, a childhood friend of the Buffs, a gym-aholic, proud new father, and rising young entrepreneur gives a short, honest and down-to-earth talk about this truth. He not only discusses his own work ethic, but also talks about the potency of showing a good example as the "boss" – in that other people at work will imbibe this hardworking attitude they see in their employers.

We're living in the Intellectual Age, where not only information abound, but the synthesis of these ideas into something new and creative. Whether to make life easier for all, become wealthy or to see through the launch of a new idea, whatever your objective, you have about the same chance to be successful as the next guy. Yet to have an edge, combine your smarts with the old school value of HARD WORK. Watch this WBW, part two of two featuring Armand "Superman" Bengco of the Colayco Foundation for Education, as he talks about work, ideas, the intellectual age, and how a businessman, employee, start-up or supervisor, clerk or CEO can become their own Entrepreneurs.

I was looking at EntrepBuff.com's video archives and I discovered that we may have missed a video to publish. A big booboo in our part because it’s definitely one of our best extra clips coming from Photoworks fame Leo Castillo. So watch this clip as Leo talks about why it’s such a stupid but worthwhile idea to audition for a theatre musical – Miss Saigon pa talaga - without the talent for singing and what it means to be with a family that does not pressure you to conform but rather supports you to be who you always wanted to be.

If there's something strange in your neighbourhood, who ya gonna call? Ghostbusters please because none of the Buffs will be willing to come to the rescue – baka maihi pa kami sa pantalon. It’s that time of the month again wherein we review the month's WBW sessions which featured speakers from GoNegosyo’s Youth Entrepreneurship Summit 2009. Watch as the Buffs talk about how opportunities are ever present, the importance of a clear sense of mission, the struggle for a proactive mindset for a better nation, the necessity for self-appreciation and individuality, and lastly, a slew of the Buffs’ personal scary stories for this month’s WBW MIR Halloween special.
